Thank you again for being part of our baseball and softball league! 

 

We are definitely having a bit of wacky weather over the past few weeks! Hopefully, the weather will settle down as we get closer to May and we get into our season.

 

This email will provide a lot of information for families so please be sure to read it through!

 

There is to be NO parking inside the Kolb Complex. Please park on the west side (side closest to our fields) or at the parking lot by public works. Please do not drive up the fields at SAC as this is not allowed. 

 

At this point, all players have been placed or drafted onto a team. If you have not heard from a manager, please reach out to me. 

 

Schedules are being finalized this weekend. If you have not received a game schedule yet, please be patient as you should receive it by the middle of next week. Pinto, pixie, mustang, and petite will begin the week of May 1st. Boys and girls tball, shetland, and munchkin will begin the week of May 8th. Bronco, pony, and juniors began today!

 

Pictures are scheduled for Saturday, April 29th and Saturday, May 6th. We did our best to have our older players who begin games on May 1st have their pictures. Please attend at your team's designated date and time (please ask your manager for more information). Pictures will be inside again this year at Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School. For pictures, you will receive a digital link and purchase pictures AFTER you view them. There is nothing to bring with on picture day other than a player in uniform with GYM SHOES.

 

Oak Lawn Baseball & Softball at UIC Flames is on Sunday, April 30th. The softball game begins at 12pm and the baseball game begins at 1pm. This is a free event for our families and players to go watch a college game. There may be an opportunity to run the bases, play catch on the field, and meet players after the games. Oak Lawn Baseball & Softball Days at the Ozinga Field, home of the Windy City Thunderbolts, returns for its 3rd year! Our weekend is June 9-11th. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
