Walking in the Village Parade on July 4

The 4th of July parade, held by the village every year, is scheduled to go on as usual, with added social distancing measures. Oak Lawn Baseball & Softball has a position early in the lineup, and we are welcoming all players and families to take part and walk in the parade with us. As many people that would like to walk the route down 95th Street can come.

We will not be permitted to throw candy or anything else during the parade.
Meet at 9:30 am on July 4th, near 94th Street and 51st Street.
Wear any OLB team jersey and hat or visor.
Wear your face mask, too.
Feel free to bring a wagon or something.
The more patriotic decorations, the better! Let's show our residents that America's pastime is alive and well in Oak Lawn.
